The Maumee River valley runs through the heart of our service area — from the confluence at Defiance down through Henry County toward Toledo. Riparian corridors along the Maumee and its tributaries are some of the most challenging land to manage: steep banks, invasive shrubs, and wet soils that make conventional clearing equipment impractical.
